The more popular the permanent makeup procedure becomes, the more clients come in a state of “anticipation of a miracle.” Yes, yes, most clients want the impossible and do not want to hear adequate arguments.
⠀
But a couple of years ago, such clients were rather an exception. What is the reason? Presentation of course!
⠀
Now permanent make-up is presented by artists as a miracle procedure with overly photoshopped “afters”. No eyebrows – one, two and we have created gorgeous hairs that looks so real! Deeper pigmented lips – one wave of a magic wand and we can create a plum color lipstick effect. Anything you wish! But for some reason those artists don’t share the healed result. If you visit my instagram you’ll see tons of unedited photos and videos in my highlights of fresh and healed work.
Permanent makeup is not magic and not limitless, a lot depends on clients’ skin, age, medical history and other factors.
⠀⠀
FOR EXAMPLE:
A client arrives. Thin lips, purse-string lines, foci of fibrous tissue and significant asymmetry.
When asked what effect she would like to achieve, she shows juicy lips of a 20-year-old girl.
And as a woman, I understand the desire. But to achieve such an effect is not realistic.
Yes, if you get fillers, maybe even a surgery, then you can get a little closer to the goal.
But after trying to explain that, some clients get upset, they need some extra procedures.
Permanent makeup truly can do a lot when the artist and the client are on the same page and realistic goals are explained and understood.
So come to me for a procedure and we’ll choose the most successful option for you.
