How many appointments do I need?

Make yourself a cup of tea and have a good read)
1. If you’ve never got permanent makeup done before:
-You may go ahead and book online for your preferred date and time
-Consultation: is not mandatory, since your appointment already includes one – but if you prefer seeing and talking to me in person before committing, please email me and I’ll squeeze you in for a complimentary 30 minute consultation.
What’s next : after your appointment you wait for the area to heal and schedule a touchup (~6-12 weeks). Don’t be scared of your brows/lips being too bold and bright right after the service and remember about the light phase of the healing process when your pmu goes away but then comes back in a week or so.
-During touchup session we can also make adjustments if you wish to add more darkness/brightness, slightly change the shape and color. During first session we always work safe and aim for the most natural results, so we have room for small adjustments at your second visit. Don’t skip this important step, because touchups help your pmu last longer.
-What’s next : on average permanent makeup lasts 1-3 years before you start noticing fading and would want to schedule a refresh. Longevity depends on your skin type, lifestyle, age, pigment color used etc.
2. If you’ve had permanent makeup done before
In this case it’s considered a coverup. It’s important how much pigment you have left and if your preexisting work has a decent shape. Sometimes it’s impossible to do a coverup and I refer my clients for laser removal. Please trust my professional opinion on this, because I act in your best interest and if you want the same natural airy results that you see in my work, don’t be afraid of removal and don’t rush the process.
*Sometimes an additional touchup session needed when working with coverups.
3. Cold sores outbreak:
If you’ve ever had a cold sore, you should start taking an antiviral medication a day before/of your Lip blushing appointment. But sometimes even with this precaution you might still get an outbreak. In this case an additional touchup session might be needed.
The main thing is communication! If you feel like you need another visit even after your touchup is complete, don’t hesitate to reach out!
